MineInside, a company from Devex Group, achieved a grade of 100 in Vale´s Supplier Performance index, with Carajás Project, in Parauapebas (Pará).  The project obtained the highest grade on the three categories evaluated by the mining company (Project´s General Grade, Technical and Documentation), demonstrating the standard of excellence of the product MineInside PREMIUM- a virtual reality platform that integrates data from many mine softwares to plan, monitor and evaluate the activities of the mine.

The ultimate recognition from Vale came with the development of new functionalities for MineInside, which monitors the activities in Carajás since 2009. The first implementation of the system, in 2009, had already received an A. ´´The improvements and new tools, some of them requested by the client and added to the system, were decisive to upgrade the company´s score on the Supplier Performance Evaluation´´, explains MineInside´s commercial director, André Andrade.

 PROJECT IN ITABIRA ALSO ACHIEVES STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE
The company also achieved a standard of excellence with the Project MineInside: Measurement of Benefits, in another Vale mine, in Itabira (Minas Gerais). At this mine, the MineInside version was installed to demonstrate the functioning of the system and to generate a study on the profit capacity of an investment on the product.

UNDERSTAND THE EVALUATION
Vale created this evaluation on the Supplier Performance aiming to improve the management of suppliers. The survey is conducted four times a year, when the manager of each contract evaluates the supplier through questionnaires specific to each service or product.
According to the sum total of the items evaluated, there is a definition parameter. Both MineInside projects obtained a grade A (standard of excellence in the evaluated requisites) on all topics. This grade is valid for scores ranging from 90 to 100 points.
