Once more, Devex Announces a partnership to provide the solution SmartMine to 3 mines of Usiminas, a benchmark company in the Brazilian steel industry. SmartMine system will provide the most modern management and optimization of mine operations to one of its mining complexes located in the municipality of Itatiaiuçu, 87 km far from the capital Belo Horizonte. Devex will deploy the suite SmartMine integrated to SAP via webservice automatically controlling the main KPIs of the operation. The deployment starts in April when the operation of the 3 pits will be unified and streamlined under a single high-level control room, responsible for the entire management of the extraction process.
