![]() | Sebastião Henrique Ubaldo Ribeiro (Chairman): Sebastião is a Production Engineer (São Paulo University Polytechnical School, 1977). Throughout his diversified career, he has gathered executive experience in Industrial Engineering, Marketing, Trading, Commercial and Industrial Management and Administration in general, working for 9 years as the CEO for BHP Billiton in Brazil. He has also worked at Alcan, Michelin, Shell, Billiton, Gemcom and BHP, both in Brazil and abroad. In addition, he was a Board member of Mineração Rio do Norte, Alumar, Valesul and Samarco. |
![]() | Dr. Guilherme Bastos Alvarenga (CEO): Guilherme is an Electrical Engineer, holding a Doctorate Degree in Computer Science (UFMG, 2005) and a Master’s Degree in Automation Engineering (CPDEE, 1997). Being a co-founder of the company, he has led the entire Devex team as the company president since 1997. He began his career as an automation engineer at CSN, one of the leaders in steel production in Brazil, owning an enormous iron ore mine (Casa de Pedra). He was a researcher at Lavras Federal University (UFLA) for nine years (1999-2008) and head of the Computer Science Department at UFLA for three years. He was also a member of the University Council (CUNI, 2007-2008) and has been involved with mining technology ever since. |
| Luiz Thomaz do Nascimento (Director of Products and Innovation): Luiz Thomaz is an Electrical Engineer with a Masters in Computer Science (UFMG, 2004) and co-founder of Devex. In addition, specializes in SAP deployments and other corporate ERP solutions. He assumed the position of Director of Operations in 2001 as head of all activities of software development and implementation of projects in the mining industry SmartMine. |
| David Travesso Neto (Partner and CEO FIR Capital): David graduated in Production Engineering from Escola Politécnica/USP and holds an MBA from IMD/Universidade of Geneva. David worked for Alcan Alumínio do Brasil and for the AES Group as CEO of Cemig, CEO of Gasmig and as Vice President of AESEletropaulo. He was a Board Member of Cemig, AESEletropaulo and Geração Tietê. He was also a Board Member of Telemig Celular, Amazônia Celular, Eletronet, Empresa de Infovias S.A. and WayBrasil Telecomunicações. He was professor at Escola de Engenharia da Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto and currently teaches at Fundação Dom Cabral. He is CEO of FIR Capital. |
![]() | Christiano M. Moyses: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from PUC / MG and an MBA in Finance from IBMEC, Christiano started his career in the treasury of the ALE Fuels. He was manager of investments in Brazil and Santander Investment Banking at HSBC and controller of a company's foray FIR Capital. Subsequently he joined own FIR Capital as an investment analyst where he became partner in 2005, when he was responsible for coordinating fundraising and structuring of four private equity funds, on analysis, investment process and monitoring of four portfolio companies (already divested two) as well as president or board member of these companies. In the area of M & A conducted successful operations of small and medium sized businesses. Christiano Endeavor is now a volunteer, member of CAPP and socio-Brazil Engineering executive of Storm Capital, a company focused on M & A and investments in SMEs in traditional sectors. |
