SmartMine, Devex´s system for the management and optimization of open pit mines, started operating last Saturday (4/21) at the Azul Manganese Mine, managed by Vale.

Devex finalized the implementation of Management View in the Mining Management at Mina do Pico (GAMOL)- a Vale unit, in Itabirito. With the tool, data on operation indicators (such as production, cycle time, DMT-Average Transportation Distance, among others) can be accessed directly through SmartMine´s Database, and can be viewed on mobile devices.
